anyone recognize this faucet
It is the spigot to turn on the water for the bath/shower. I want to replace it without going into the wall.
Anyone seen this before? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311632772.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311632796.jpg |
sort of looks like a common old fashioned knob was put onto a newer faucet setup
any words in tiny print on the thing? |
Haven't seen one like that Steve but mine was similar and when we changed it out we had to go into a kitchen cabinet and cut a hole in the wall. No other way to get it out. No big deal, we made a cover for the hole so if it ever needs changing again we can just unscrew the cover and do it.

Pretty sure that's a Moen. Parts available.
|
The handle is from a Price Pfister bath set. ( I have the same handles exactly on my 20 year old 3 handle bath set)
It doesn't look original to the fixture. |
thanks. I had thought it might be a Delta, but they did not recognize it.

Looks like a Moen to me....

I've sent inquiries to both.
|
Could be a Kohler too. You might try calling and emailing Fresno Distributing.

You can replace the spigot handle easily. To replace the spigot assembly you will have to go in the wall.
But it's easy. And instead of sealing the wall back up get an access panel (readily available at Home Depot/Leows etc.) as noted above so you don't have to patch drywall the next time. And clean up that mildew!! Disgusting! |
Good idea on the access panel. I discovered that the handle is a common replacment from Danco.
I'll take it off and try to figure out the make of the assembly. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311782998.jpg |
