3 sea shells

It is 2011. Shouldn't we have developed something better than toilet paper by now?

We kind of live in the stone ages in that regard here in the US....

I have an apartment in Wangjing,Choayang District, Beijing, China.

The toilet seatin my place is some sort of high-tech bidet. The water can be aimed depending on gender, the force of the stream, and temperature of the stream can be easily adjusted

Then there is a drying stream of air..

Of course TP is always present.. (well mostly, in China always carry paper napkins or tissues)

Basically you sit, make your deposit, then touch a button on the side of the toilet, you get washed and dried, and off you go...

Flushable wet wipes. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out.
Some say they cause plumbing issues but I have not had trouble after several years of use.

They are a step above toilet paper, but still low tech. And yes, I've been using those for about 10+ years.

That's what the DOG is for. It's ok, I don't let him lick my face.

All these years I've heard of *&%$ eating dogs, I didn't realize that however.

My wife insists on buying toilet paper with a high content of recycled material. Personally, I think they could find a better use for all the glass and metal.

That's a good one. I used to sell catalog paper to Sears. That goes back a few years.

Just bought the Toto Washlet seat. Still in the box. Waiting for the plumber to tell me about using it on an American Standard toilet. He's got some deal where he takes a new AS and retrofits a 3.5 gal flush fit to it.

We'll see.
