Looking for some support

As some know, I race a Boxster S in the Scandinavian Porsche Sports Cup - whilst this is really good fun, it is also rather expensive

To date, I have managed to secure some sponsorship with SVP (they built the car), Highgate House and a local company in Finland named EuroRacing. All these agreements are based on support and reduced cost service - Like Rick at HighGate House helping out with all the livery and EuroRacing with some local stuff.

I am hoping to generate some more sponsorship for next year (will spend the winter working on it), and this is where my shameful begging comes in. One channel I have to try and demonstrate visibility is the facebook page. The more people I can show as liking the page, the larger audience any potential sponsor gets. I therefore was hoping some of you would be willing to just click over to the page and press the "like" button, and help a fellow Porsche fanatic with his new racing addiction :)

CoolCava Racing | Facebook

Thank you for your support....

Kroggers 08-02-2011 09:16 AM

Wow, thank you all for such great support, I really appreciate it...

car311 - that goes without saying, we must stick together ;) How about if I add your page to the CoolCava Racing Likes, and you do the same?

Geronimo - You can see some in-car action on the YouTube page, and I do try to keep the original build thread up-to-date...

That you did Milt, thank you :)

had already do so right after I posted in thread here. thanks for your support as well. i have a few irons in the fire on getting some help from a couple local companies. a paving contractor and vinyl/silk screen guy that is local and would like to get into the race culture for business. the paving contactor's take is rich folks race:confused:, and rich folks have long paved driveways in need of repair... i too am hoping the FB forum will help demonstrate a "following".

good luck with your continued sucess, and of course, keeping having fun....

Close buddy - you need to use fb as your page "Grocery Cart Motorsports", and then like the CoolCava Racing page - that way CCR will show up in your Grocery Cart Motorsports like list - just as I have done for CCR, so that your team now shows up in the CCR like list as well as my personal one ;)

This sponsorship stuff is not easy, and it all comes down to a win-win deal. At least you can race all year round making it more interesting for the sponsors - We get to much snow for any racing over here in the winter - but that gives me 7 months to work on the car and potential sponsors :D

Good luck to you as well...

Yup plan to be at T'hill - currently leading the points battle so need to not give anyone an advantage.

That is why I opted in the end to have the car built for me. One nice surprise that came from it was the good relationship i built with Dominic at SVP, and the subsequent support and sponsorship I got from it :)

Kroggers 08-03-2011 11:50 PM

Forgot to mention, if anyone is interested in maybe sponsoring a Boxster in the Scandinavian Porsche Sports Cup - then I would be more than interested ;)
