I'd say yes. Ten or fifteen years ago I saw a white Pantera in a shop, on a lift, but not in the air. The mech. told me it was a customers car, bought for 40k, sight unseen and shipped from Las Vegas to San Marcos, CA, to his shop to be gone through.

The mech. was waiting for a callback from the customer, for whom he'd left a message that when he started to lift the car it began to literally break in half - totally undriveable.

Serves him right for buying a car without bothering to go check it out....

Like Panteras, the early stock examples look the best. Unfortunately, many that survive have been hideously "updated" with fender flares, 18" wheels, wings, etc.

Will this car have twin turbos?

This Mangusta that races here in the west is pretty damn cool IMO. It is not terribly competitive from what I've heard/seen.

Wow, never realized how much the Longchamp resembles an X1/9.

It doesn't...the pictures are VERY misleading.

Don't know for sure. All my son is doing is the body and paint. 800 HP seems a bit optimisitic if it doesn't have turbos, though.

Sold @$50k, purchase 5yr. ago @$35k. My 2nd PANTERA, buy the best and check for rust.... BIG PROBLEM.. even new from the factory.

1967 911s, 20k miles, all original 1 owner, PORSCHE factory purchase by TWA pilot. Last licensed 1990, has not been on the street for about 30 years.

A guy around here named Moe picked up a (1971?) with original paint (very near mint - even had the tray above the engine) at an estate sale (Craig's list I think) for a song. Kept it for a year and made a little money on it.
