Average high of 105 in my hometown

Its been crazy hot this summer, with NO moisture falling. Just saw that the AVERAGE high for July was 105.... I'm tired of this....

I was in a scissor lift above asphalt from 10-430 today with about 20mins in the AC of the pickup for lunch....

huh... i don't think we've hit 100 yet this year, which is pretty odd. its been about 5 degrees cooler than average, in my estimation. we've usually had several days over 100 by august 1.

My pool's water is 92 right now. 105 is comfy in the shade, but no good in direct sunlight.

It was 115 here on Sat. and I was in full riding gear, running errands. Jamba Juice never tasted so good.

My gas/electric bills are lowest this time of year - combined about $160/mo. It will touch high 90's here in the coming months but cools to high 60's at night. The house fan I installed last year is probably the best upgrade I have done to date. I highly recommend one.

Just started my 3 weeks and its been perfect, about 75* during the day and cooler at night, for me thats perfect but its a little cool for this area this time of year.

Today will be the hottest day in a while with a high of 86 in DT L.A., than back to high of 78 forecast for Thu/Fri. It's been a strangely cool summer here considering that most of the country seems to be breaking records with heat.
