Sale at Pep Boys, 5 qt mobil 1 synthetic and a mobil 1 oil filter for less than 40 bucks, two filters and 10 qt max.

I bought two long filters and 10 of 5W30 for the Mazda. Got a dinky little wrench that fits over the end at harbor freight, will have it on stands to do the differential and transmission too

either way

that was way easier than I thought it would be, the front suspension of a miata really looks a lot like a 914 I noticed, how do you get the smell of transmission oil out of your hair?

Find a skunk and poke it with a sharp stick.
Tranny oil will still stink but you won't notice it....
