Heat Index 110 and rolling brownouts ?

Just received an e-mail from ERCOT (the organization that manages the TX Electric Grid) asking users to volunarily limit electricity usage between 3PM and 7PM to help avoid rolling brownouts...

Apparently every generator in TX is running full tilt and if any go off-line the brownouts will start...

Heard yesterday they were "borrowing" power from neighboring states and Mexico.

20 plants. WHY? Nobody is giving reasons to why the plants are going offline.

California had 20% of its plants taken offline for "maintenance" and it turned out to be a (pardon the pun) power play by Enron.

If the TX utilities have to start buying out of state electrons, it could get pricey, fast. Hopefully there are some actual journalists left somewhere to look into it.

I'm sure those TV news "journalists" will be all over the story
