name a non-alcohol beer that you like.

(flame away if you must)

i havent had any booze for the year. i miss beer. i have had the amber o'douls and it isnt bad. the green bottle o'douls taste like watered down coors light.

any good ones around that are readily available? (the delicious NA brew you found in a lonely pub in dublin on tap isnt gonna help me :))

i seriously miss wine :(

I never drank beer for the taste. Sneaking up on year # 6 without booze, and other bad things . Don't miss it one bit.

+1 for Amber O"douls. There really aren't a lot of choices out there.

I brew my own non- alcoholic beer. I did it about 10 years ago and it was a lot of work but it tasted good.

WOW you ask a and you get the AA preach at ya ! LOL
HMM. I have yet to find one that taste real..but I am a Dark Ale guy....Bush make one that has .001% Alcohol in it. Has a beer flavor much like all the high advertised S%$t beers bud, Coors, and Milwaukee and other crap beer

Kaliber - made by Guinness, good beer but not dark.

Jim Richards 08-04-2011 07:00 AM

Yeah, I should've had Kaliber on my list.

Ack! Maybe it's just my taste buds, but SPGNA is donkey piss.

The only time I've really tasted N/A beer is when we use it for party/bar scenes. We get "movie beer" from the beer companies and they fill their regular bottles and cans with their N/A beer which always sucks. Most actors prefer O'Douls so we put that in a glass or slap a fake label on the bottle.

Another vote for O'Doul's Amber. I've also had Becks a couple times (at certain places in LA where there are stages and poles...) and it's not bad.

If you like dark dark stout beers, but want an NA, try

Non-alcohol beer, for people who like to pee.

techweenie 08-04-2011 09:06 AM

Beer only uses humans for transport.

craigster59 08-04-2011 09:08 AM

All the calories with none of the fun.....

Sign seen on the can wall at a local watering hole: "You don't buy beer, you rent it!" I've tried many N/A low-cal beers & always found them wanting in the 'taste dept.' so I end up saying 'to-hell-with-this' & have a coke, & only if I'm the 'designated driver' for the evening.

Cheers
JB
