This 59 year old film clip is aging unbelievably well.

WTF?!?
The guy in the clip reminded me of Harvey Korman. That could almost have been an excerpt from a skit from the Carol Burnett show.

Dick Shawn...Steve Martin stole his act..
Dick Shawn was doing a one man show when suddenly he fell to the floor..people sat there for a few moments thinking it was part of his act..it wasn't he had a heart attack and died at 56. He was Lesley St Duboise..LSD in the original Producers, Spring Time For Hitler...

The girl is Barrie Chase. She was great in Cape Fear as the barfly that Robert Mitchum picks up. She always reminded me of a shorter Paula Prentiss.

Saw that one when it came out at the Virginia Beach Drive-In in Norfolk. We lived in the neighborhood right next to it (Fairlawn Estates).
My Dad took us. Also saw The Duke in "The Green Berets" there. And other classics. Good memory for me because my father died in '68 when I was 14. He loved a good movie - and that one especially because of the all star cast!

Those people left a swath of destruction in the wake of pursuing their unmitigated greed to get the 250 G's buried under the big W.
There is a lot of footage that was cut from the film for the final cut...Kramer knew that for a lot of the performers it might be their last outing or only pairing.so I doubt that it got tossed...I would love to see that film in the original uncut down for time constraints format... It was a long, long, long, long film..

I love it when Johnathan Winters tears apart the gas station.

I almost died laughing the fjrst time I saw the movie as a kid. Watched it again as an adult and didn't find it funny at all. It's kind of like I Love Lucy episodes, it was funny once but tne humor has not aged well.

I remember LMAO at that movie. I also remember seeing the original Spartacus in a theatre in Newark with my cousins.

That was Jonathan Winter's big break. Ethel Merman, Phil Silvers and Terry Thomas were great too. Every big name in comedy was in that one. The ending was dumb but who cares

Ahh, the good olde days when we could put a pretty woman in a bikini and find a reason to give her some screen time AND to catch some glimpses of Dick's dick poking out of his tighty red shorts.
Such a beautiful, simpler time.
