Thanks for stopping and helping! When I went down hard I remember seeing people walking 20 yards away who kept on walking..... |
I knew this was the one that happened on hwy 41... from what I heard the trailer lights worked just fine but who knows what the story really is.

Riding a motorcycle in modern day traffic is like playing Russian Roulette in my opinion. I used to have a Kawasaki LTD440 in college 20 years ago and it was good for scooting around campus, but I remember a few near death experiences when cars pulled out in front of me.
Sometimes I get tempted to get another, mainly when I see the shows on Discovery Channel, etc, showing how "fun" Harleys, sport bikes, etc are....there is quite an industry and "image" built up around bikes.... but then I remember I have 2 little kids and there are a lot of idiots on the road. I may get an enduro someday for mostly off road riding where the only risk of dying is if you yourself do something stupid, but no street bikes. I'll stick to cars. |
I hear ya.
All I can say is they were not working when we drove up to the boat trailer within minutes of the accident. The SUV that trailing the boat had working tail lights. It might be possible that the trailer lights went out because of the accident, but the motorcyle hit the boat, not the trailer according to the policeman. I'm sure the boat owner said they were working before the accident... Quote:
