About a month ago, my 15+ yr old 30" bow saw broke when the pin holding the blade in place sheared off. I was twisting the saw to get it off of hte branch I was cutting and must have torqued it too much.
I e-mailed Fiskars asking where I could buy a new pin to repair the saw as the bow and blade were still in great shape. They e-mailed me back a few days later telling me that my replacement saw was in the mail and should arrive in a week or 2. Today my new saw arrived. I noticed they changed the blade attachment to make it stronger. Now, I only paid about $10 for the saw and I was willing to go buy a new one but they definately went above and beyond. That is customer service. They were willing to stand by their tool, no questions asked. I know where I will look for cutting tools in the future. Thanks for listening. moderators: I know you will move this but just wanted this to get wide circulation. Thanks!

I've been to their factory in Finland as part of a school trip. Very nice people, neat place.

We had a Fiskars canopy for several years until it ripped and I threw it out. Our neighbors had the same one and when it ripped, they contacted Fiskars and the company replaced the ripped fabric free of charge. I'm still kicking myself over that...
