Yeah, it might be fine for OK but that bike wouldn't be much fun at Cal Poly SLO. (built on a hill)

It actually rides nicely. Without all the bells and whistles, stripped down to the essential it is very smooth and quiet. I live in a hilly suburb and it is geared accordingly.

You guys really need to come out to OK... We have rolling hills. I live downhill from campus, and its a pretty nice gain between me and most of my classes.
