Any Pelicans in Singapore?

Looks like I will be there in September, just wondering if any Pelicans might be in the area. I'm going to try to be in town for F1 but no guarantees

No longer there, but let me know if you need any inside info.

I know the town very well.

There are one or two people on Pelican that live there but I think they hang out in the 911 technical forum.

I used to live there but I don't remember much. Eat as much of the street food as you can find.

Street food and hawker centers are high on my list :-)

So both of you guys have lived there in the past? Would you go back?

Might be sending you both some follow up PMs depending on how this trip goes if that is ok with you guys.

Singapore.........

I was there in February 1971 as a U.S. Navy Seabee on the way to start construction on the base on Diego Garcia. The ship we were on, the "Harlan County" was an LST. We put into the harbour at Singapore and spent 3 days and nights there, leaving on the 4th morning. Three great days of liberty spent mostly on shore!

I will be there for the F1 race. Can't wait!
Singapore is a fun city, if you're into food and shopping.

This will be my first live F1 experience. I've already bought binoculars and earphones for the whole family.

guys.
I wouldn't go back, but only because I've been there and done that, and I don't really like to go backwards in life. But it's a great town with many compensations, particularly today since old man LKY is no longer driving the bus, and the place has become more liberal.

Great place to work. Great food. Great location. Stunning and compliant women. Depending on your biz, you can make a very large dollar there. Taxes are reasonable. Not too many downsides.

Feel free to pm me with specific questions.

Work has me over there pretty often. I'll probably be there during September as well.
