Cycling with my daughter.
I finally got my daughter ( she will be two next month ) to wear her helmet for extended periods of time. We went for a short ( 3miles) trip around town including the local park. I feel like a sleigh dog, she kept yelling "go go go go go" I think she had fun!

awesome! You'll be in shape in no time because she'll want to do it all of the time.

Nice. Please stay of any roads with cars. Always scares me to see the little ones pulled in traffic at wheel height.

I hear you! Our neighborhood is pretty free of traffic and there are three parks in the area. Now that I know she will keep the helmet on I will take her around lake miramar!

When our first child, Shelby was born, the extended family pitched in money for us to buy a crib.
I bought a Burley Bike Trailer instead. I took her everywhere! She is 19 now and still have it. The trailer has survived two children, assorted neighborhood children, dogs, groceries, etc. I need to reskin it, but the frame and hitch are still sound. Way better investment than a crib. angela

Nice! Started pulling my daughter around @ 2yrs old....sans helmet
She would fall asleep and I could ride for an hour and a half without stopping for her. After 4 or so I'd have to stop and pick flowers or hit a park to keep her interest. Here she is (6yo) a couple weekends ago getting her first taste of single track. 5 miles later and a couple of spills, she is hooked.

Yep, we're always stopping to pick flowers, pine cones, acorns, rocks etc. Usually after an hour, we are a block away from the house.
