Mmm is for Menudo!
 

Yeah I know it has been hotter than Hades outside, but I have really been craving Menudo lately. The wifey ran into town today so I had her pick up some honeycomb tripe and pigs feet.... Just put everything into a big pot and turned up the heat. I can't wait!!!! Pics to follow...

growing up in EP, we ate it with those buns. i havent had a bowl in years.

I usually serve some corn tortillas on the side with some chopped cilantro and onions. I also slice a few lemons as I tend to like lemon juice in mine. Fwiw, the house is smelling Menudo wonderful!!!!

Coincidence? I think not. That is what I had at the Commissary for lunch today.

Great minds think alike ha! I already had two bowls, think I will wait and have another at 8 or 9pm....

Wife and kids don't really care for the Menudo so while I was cooking the Menudo, I fired up the Old Smokey with some Mesquite and threw a couple of pizzas on there for them. Didn't take any pics of the pizzas cooking but here is the Menudo.

Here is a shot from the inside of the new (to me) house, the blind to the left of me is a sliding glass door, the rest that you see are double windows. Have you ever seen so many windows in a house? This continues around the entire house till you get to the screened in porch. We have 10 windows alone in our bedroom.
