So that is the ice cream puke eating dog :)
Yup, thats Indy - he will eat anything! Heck, I dropped a piece of lettice, gobbled it up. I was cutting onions and I gave him a wedge, eat it like he was a Cajun! Labs are known for that sort of thing. I saw a popped blue ballon in his poop once.
No more Onions or rasians for the pooch. NOT GOOD for them.
Nice fence! |
Onions, garlic and grape skins are all bad for/toxic to dogs.
Good to know! Thanks. I think he got into the Oleander a few montsh ago. I didn't know how toxic those plants were.
That is a great looking fence! (and home, yard, pool, landscaping). The gates are really nice!
Some good ideas when replacement time rolls around again. Hopefully, that is several years away. Karl 88 Targa |

Nice fence! Interesting with the steel poles. Were they part of an original chain link fence or purposely designed in with the wood? My big lab mix Hamlet likes human socks....I swear that dog could pass iron pipe. That was a fun week looking through dog poop. |
Nice hootch, Mike.
Interesting tibit bit on Oleander...

The hail strom beatthe shyt out of my Magnolias and Knock-out Roses - about stripped all their leaves! They are just now coming back. The Sago Palms were cut way back after the ice storms abused them. I was surprised they recoved. One of the boxwoods is dog piss intolerant but the palms don't seem to mind a Lab / Rat Terrier golden shower!

Some of the homeowners will replace with good fence as you did, some with more of the cheapest they can get and some not all. Neighborhood will shortly be a patchwork of crappy fencing.. |
Lubey,
I LOVE the fence and your pool is gorgeous! As far as the Lab goes? My dog's veterinarian told me that he's pretty sure a Labrador can eat a tractor tire and pass it with no problems... But do stay out of the Oleander, etc. angela |
Beautiful yard Moses, what a difference. Are those 1x4 on 1x8 topped with a 2x6?
Moses? Yup, cedar planks but the tops are not as wide as they actually look.
Where are the machine gun turrets?
Lisa calls our backyard 'the fortress'! I wanna put in a mote but with the drought i might see a fine...
Nice fence (and home/yard)!
