Oh yeah, those are already on my POS list. My parents remodeled in 2006 and had enough GE stuff die on them by now.

Yeah, we remodeled our kitchen about 4 years ago, The GE appliances have proved to be pure crap, I've had to replace the near new Microwave already. The dishwasher can't clean a "clean" dish and then leaves powdered soap on it. Our stupid refrig has super cheap plastic drawers, the freezer racks fall if they have a slight load, won't buy GE again.

you guys are right. Sears stuff is junk now. I quit messing with them several years ago.

Service guy showed up today. Nice guy. Problem/solution is exactly as was described to them when I called. Guy claims it's $1500 in parts to fix it. I point out to him it's a warranty issue. He seemed surprised that it's in print in the owner's manual. 12 days before he can get here to fix it. I'll be on the phone with Sears before that. After this, no more Sears for me.
