Recommendations for Scandinavia for late October?
I'll be going to Gothenburg in late October to pick up a Volvo and will be staying about a week. What's the best stuff to do there if your priorities are sightseeing and photography? I was thinking of going to the Fjords, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. I get the impression driving the car may not be the best except for in the Gothenberg area because the time and distances are significant and the fuel costs are high. Seems like all the hotels are $300+ per night- is there a better way to go? I just want to shower and sleep and not spend a ton on that.
Is there better stuff to see than what I'm thinking? TIA!
