Things that lots of people like that I don't

Coffee, alcohol, golf

I've tried all three. Repeatedly. Based on the fact the they seem to be so popular among the general population, I feel like I must be missing out on something. Eventually I quit "trying" to like them.

The smell of coffee makes me want to throw up. Alcohol doesn't quite push me as far as coffee, but close. Golf? If dinosaurs and windmills are involved, it's okay, but the attraction of paying lots of money to chase a little ball over many acres of someone else's finely manicured lawn escapes me.

Any grossly popular things that you find somewhat repulsive?

I love coffee! Alcohol and golf I can do without...

As for money, I only dislike it when I don't have any. When I'm flush, I adore the stuff!

I like the smell of coffee, but don't really like coffee. I don't like the smell of beer, so I've never tried it.

Golf could be alright I think, I've never played a game, but I have shot at a driving range with a friend who does. I think some people play golf almost for the social aspect rather than just to play the game. Same with watching the NFL or NASCAR. Its HARD to watch an NFL game by myself, I can stand it around other people in a social setting with a NFL game as a backdrop.

Love coffee, love most forms of CH3CH2OH, used to love golf - played every single day for a long period of time and then..... well I got sick of it and haven't touched a club since

not much that I can say "I don't like"

I go through phases with coffee (currently addicted) and alcohol (currently using but wife wants me to cut back) and cigars (also not a fav of the wife)

Golf, tried to learn it to bond with my dad (he loves it) but for the life of me can't follow the ball on a long drive... also consumes too much time.

NASCAR, on paper it sounds pretty good... tube frame, front engine V8, rear drive, stock body shapes, slick tires... have a friend who is a huge fan... with the money it generates he is not alone, but I can't get into it... but then I don't drink as much beer as he does.

The Beatles. Never liked them, they suck.

Soccer, really popular here. Bunch of overpaid pussyboys.

Kim Clijsters, belgian female tennis player. Everybody loves Kim. Not me though.

FB.

Some other things too, but that would send this thread to PARF...

Coffee, I don't drink coffee. It tastes bad.

Golf, meh, I guess it's not that bad as long as you aren't taking it too seriously. I definitely prefer goofy on mini to regular.

Alcohol. I don't really drink. I did have a couple of margaritas when I was on vacation. I like the taste of a couple of things, but rarely have more than one drink at a time. I don't care for the feeling. That's how I started out too. I did go through a period when I was in my early 20s where I drank more, but still probably a lot less than most.

Wrastlin'. Just don't get it. Most reality shows. Just don't get it. I also don't care if I ever watch any sort of team or individual sport on TV ever unless there's some sort of high performance motor involved. And even with my love for motorsports, I don't watch much on TV. If I had more "spare" time and the stuff that I enjoy watching (WRC, F1, SportsCar, Baja/offroad) was more accessible on the tube, I would probably watch more.

Drama, some folks seem to love it, not me.

Thank you!

The tread is about things that are popular you don't like... not a list of things you hate.

At least 99.9% of the stuff on TV, utter crap.

Don't care for scotch at all. Only thing smoked that I don't like.

Angelina Jolie is utterly skankeriffic. I would not hit that nasty ho with two condoms.

Well, Lee let's break it down....

Fat ass chicks.....lot's of websites on the subject....Freddie had a hit called "Fat Bottom Girl"....or sumtin' like that. Lot's of guys like a full Rubenesque figure. I don't.

Fake Boobs....hmmmm, big, huge, solid as a silicon balloon separated by double hands width....seem popular......bzzzzt, not my bag...so to speak.

Fart cans.....prolly more fart can ricers on the road than vintage Porsches......

Nozzles on PARF are more prevalent than normal middies of the road or those that have a brain.....

So, that leaves cops.....OK, I'll give ya that one.
