It is strange. It is not even a hyper link. It looks like the site got hacked or got a virus or something. I sure ain't gonna place any ads for free on a unknown site.

Hmmm. It seems to be gone already.

I still see it. Weird. I think that's been there for a while, but I've never really taken notice of it.
Here's an explanation. Step by Step: How to Use Trackbacks - vBulletin SEO Forums
and a small excerpt

Why This Helps
The blog world has exploded in popularity over the past few years and it's in big part to bloggers using trackbacks between different blogs. Trackbacks let other sites know that you're talking about them or talking about a topic that is related to something they posted.

We want to let these bloggers know when we've found something interesting on their blogs & this is an easy way to do it. It helps to spread the word about GoTeamsGo to bloggers and their readers. It also helps us by adding a link on the blogger's website to us. That makes it easy for the blogger and their readers to find us. Hopefully, they'll like what they see here and they'll join our community.
I didn't read the whole thing, but it seems to be a way to cross link if you post something that originated on another site to let folks know about the originating site or something like that. I'll have to read the whole explanation more thoroughly later.

Looks pretty spammy.
