Paranoia Soul recs
Looking for tracks for a Playlist I'm calling Paranoia Soul. I'm looking for songs, ideally from the 60s and 70s, like "The Back Stabbers" (no idea why it's two words in the title, but it is), "Smiling Faces Sometimes," and "For the Love of Money." "Heard It Thru the Grapevine" maybe... less songs about cheatin' hearts, though.
I would also accept "Betrayal" by Mystic Spiral (written by Trent Lane) but I don't think Trent ever finished it. ![]()

Not soul, but has a real nice groove and fits from the paranoia standpoint...
