I'll be in Houston next week. I know there's a few of you there. Anyone want to grab dinner/beers one night (Mon - Wed)? I will be in the Galleria area and will have a car.

Oh, you want details? :p I'm 5 minutes from there, I can do whatever whenever. No one likes my suggestions when someone comes, so we always let Red-beard decide, since he cries if we don't go where he wants. you won't want to see him cry, it's a pitiful sight.

Within 10 minutes of the Galleria is about 3 of every single kind of cuisine you can think of, you're at the heart of the Houston foodie scene.

I think Red Beard should treat us all to din-din at Fogo de Chao.

I like the way you think. Tues or Weds better for me, dont expect to make the din din but am up for drinks in the follow up.

I'm up for pretty much anything EXCEPT Canyon Cafe. When I ate there in May I got food poisoning something fierce.

I'm working downtown, but will knock off for the day between 5-5:30 and free after that.

Anyone good at organizing...or at least picking a place/time?

I don't the Galleria area too well any more but there are hundreds of restaurants around there. I probably can't be there til 8pm or so.

Depends on Steve how far he wants to drive from the Galleria.

So, we can look at 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 20 minute circles.

Both of those are good, probably lean to woodrows and 8pm if left to me. Bueller? Bueller?

Sounds good to me, I have no problem driving a little bit and drinks ~8 are just fine.
THere's a woodrows on Chimney Rock Rd and the streets are names I recognize from the drive this morning so it must be close! :)

The Woodrows on Chimney Rock might be blisteringly busy, usually is. It's a BIG Woodrows. However, it has food.

There's on one Bellaire, about 3 blocks inside the loop, it's a LITTLE Woodrows. No food, no crowds.

Big Woodrows always has the risk of being busy, there's no rhyme or reason. Parking sucks too.

No parking for car guys is undoable! Little woodrows on bellaire at 8 tomorrow sounds great. Do you all know each other, will I be the only one looking lost?
