epoxy primer in a spray can?
I'm ready to start cutting the rust out of and welding new patch panels into my project 914. I need to do a couple of small sections in the trunk, and battery tray area before putting the car on a rotisserie and doing the floors. No body work! I just need to seal the new metal effectively and get some undercoating on it. Do I need to use anything special? The outside of the floors are what Im most worried about. Does anyone make anything like an epoxy primer in an aerosol spray can? I do not have access to any real spray equipment.

Rustoleam lists a product they claim is a true 2 part epoxy in a spray can. I have not seen it on the shelf as of yet.

You can use self-etching primer and a weld-through primer if you are planning further repairs.
Visit your local auto-body supply shop and you'll find tons of product in spray cans. |
Eastwood has a product.
