Krap! Looks like I gotta hang around 12 more years. Maybe I should start drinking again. The way this country is headed, I don't want to hang around that long..

69 now & it says I'll be around until 97. We're having a long time lady friend come for a visit around Christmas time. Very interesting person, WWII, worked for US AID before/during/after Vietnam & got out of Saigon 3 days before the big collapse. She's 97 & sharp as a tack. If I last until my late 90's I hope I'll be like her, otherwise it won't be worth it. I also think Paul's right about the way the country is headed & the value of hanging around to see the results.

88 years old. Sheesh, I'm not quite even middle aged then. That seems like a long time, but it'll be over in a blink if you aren't careful.
