I think it's staged -- look at how the kid who hits the console falls to the floor in anticipation of the tv unit falling.

I seem to remember Mythbusters proving this was faked also. Table was probably set on a thin layer of mylar/lexan etc, and tablecloth was between the plastic and the table.

To be fair they tested it with a Buell that had a lot less HP. They should have used the same bike to prove it was really fake.

Well, if that WAS staged, the lower panel had to be loose with nothing behind it or the kid is now flat. It did look very suspicious with the way he bowed his head and clasped his hands. He still took a good shot in the back of the head. The kid in front seemed to know to run.

One thing for sure, there wasn't much opportunity for a 2nd take.
