Cool. There was a Top Gear show recently showing the performance of the Nissan GT R. It was amazing.

They should have shown power and weight, not power and torque.

The Laguna Seca clearly was not very well setup or it would have won by a mile.

Uh...it's only worth a 2 star rating in these parts...:(

Piss poor selection to start with... pitting a Nissan GTR against a GT3 instead of a GT2?

The video of the drag race was just for fun. But the reason the cars were assembled there was to pick the "Best Driver's Car" which didn't even include drag racing. It was mostly about handling, feedback, feel, etc. Track performance at Laguna Seca was how they tested.

Two very typical facts about car videos:

A British bloke presenting it: Great! Love the British accent.

Completely unnecessary, idiotic, music overshadowing the engine notes.

Agreed on the poor car selection. The Lotus and Cayman shouldnt have even been included and the GT2 should have been used to represent Porsche as well as the ZR1 for the Vette. Things would have turned out much differently for the GTR.:cool:

The GTR's are so ugly in person: Tall, wierd, GM-cheap looking interior. Amazing performance, but so what: I wouldn't want one in my garage: my garage is too pretty :)
