Where's that 55 gallon oil tank you used to have on the passenger side?

masraum 09-22-2011 01:41 PM

Cool! Good luck!

Still there just has been moved a bit for other mods

Zeke 09-22-2011 01:43 PM

Ah, well still a great car. I just never liked the idea of that much oil in there with ME (or you ;)). I hope you put a secondary shield around the thing.

Racerbvd 09-22-2011 01:43 PM

You might want to put some wheels on it:p

Good luck..

I call it "The Man Cave";)

Tobra 09-22-2011 03:56 PM

I like your garage better than my house.

Shaun @ Tru6 09-22-2011 04:00 PM

is your cage really tied into the floor?

Yes, designed by a german engineer, Bruno Volkoff. He wanted to make sure if I wadded it up in a ball I would survive. This car does minimal "flexing"
Been racing it for 10 years, no wrecks other than idiots bouncing off my rear quarters.
a few wins.

Shaun @ Tru6 09-22-2011 04:28 PM

Just make sure you keep the shiny side up with that design!

Since you started one of the more epic threads about "chests," I think a little action is appropriate in the car if not the "cave."

Tell the wife you're just paying a debt to society (if you get caught).

ODDJOB UNO 09-22-2011 08:06 PM

we need some track pics here.

To tell you the truth women are more inclined to get topless sitting in the sill of the "Gullwing"

after thinking about, it I hear your concern. The original owner had a removable roll bar.
we added bars that "hopefully" delete the cage tearing out of the floor.;)
