iPad sync question
 
Can someone remind me how to get photos from my laptop iPhoto library onto my iPad?

I believe there used to be a sync icon in iPhoto—but that seems to have disappeared. What am I missing?

I don't have a Mac. On a PC, you set iTunes to sync with a specific directory and it will always copy the pics from there; maybe it's the same with Apple products?
