Need a land line bluetooth transceiver...know of one?
So my handsfree earpiece (wired) died and I need a replacement. This is for my office use. I just need a device that will plug into my office phone then pair with my bluetooth earpiece that I use for my cell phone. Actually, I have bluetoothstereo earphones that work really well and I would use that to pair with this new transceiver.
I can't find something like this on the web. I don't want a full system (they sell some with the transceiver and earpiece for about $300..too much). Does such a product exist? |
what kind of jack is on the phone?

4 conductor RJ11.

Plantronics has a lot of blutooth/headset products.

The two most common manuf seem to be Plantronics and Jabra. I've seen lots of Jabra in the last several years.

I don't want anything expensive, I just need the base or hub. Plantronics has a $300 setup the Savi, but that's out of my price range. I'd have a hard time getting it pass the boss. I see some Jabra hubs, but the one I found is discontinued. It was $55...just the right price.

Are you talking about something that connects to your mobile through bluetooth, and land line handsets plug into it (so when someone calls your mobile it'll ring along with however many land lines)? I have one of those and can check who made it when I get home. I love the thing though - our house is big enough so that someone can call and we'll be too far away to hear the phone ring. With this, the mobile rings along with the cordless and an old rotary phone so we can answer on whichever is closest.

Steve..I found what you have but that's not what I need. I need what "shifter" posted. Jabra use to make somethig like that but it's discountinued. Shifter's find may be worth a shot but something about the Chinese worrisome me.
