Home at Last
It has been awhile, but the little 356 Notch is in Maryland.
A quick reminder: Seahawk 356 project: I had to ship it back due to business demands, but I got it off the truck early this morning and I think I put 200 miles on it today driving the back roads of Maryland.. What an absolute pleasure. My son Jack drove as well when I got back. I sat in the passengers seat and watched a 17 year old grin from ear to ear. In the barn: ![]() I'd like to thank Denis, Scott Kinder, Milt and many others for their advice and council. Denis in particular for his superb work.

Keep those black plates you have on it, too bad you could not drive it back.

Cool! Here's hoping that someday in the distant future, this car ends up in Scott's hands...

I shouldn't have been mentioned in the same context as Denis. I spent a few hours underneath and was actually not able to completely finish the work due to circumstances which seemed complicated at the time. I think it was able to be put on a lift at some later point where access would have been a lot better.
Denis spent many months by comparison and touched about every part of the car. It was at one time Scott's father's car for those of you just coming to the story. As I understand it, Scott has first right of refusal which is a superb gesture on Paul's part. |

Excellent news, Paul! I hope I see your 356 Notch one of these days. I hope you bring to next year's PCA Potomac Gathering of the Faithful (in Sept). Lots of bathtubs there.

Trivia...but see that glovebox? It's the reason PANO is sized the way it is...so it would fit flat in a 356 glovebox.

That is awesome. Cute? I suppose, but only if your wife or daughter is driving. Otherwise it's awesome. I'd like to see more pics of the finished product.

Just a wild guess, but I'll bet that car is FUN to drive. Shot in the dark.
Good that she's completed and home. This Pelican community is darned cool, and it is folks like Denis (and Paul) who make it what it is. We're going to keep an open seat for you at the pub here, Paul, for when your other duties step out of the way and you can enjoy some leisure and travel.
