LOL! I'm pretty popular here, aren't I? You belong to a special group once the "one star hater" adds you to his list. Anyway, loved the line about Jacoby's butt. Jacoby Ellsbury, the pride of Madras Oregon...done playing for this season. :(

I thought the Carmageddon one was funnier. I see there are a whole series of videos with this same footage.

Love me, Ortiz me. Even as a Sox fan I saw the humor in that video. Unfortunately this colossal decline in September may have cost Ellsbury in the MVP voting even though he was carrying the team all month.

Couldn't agree more with that. Ellsbury is a worthy center field candidate for anybody's fantasy team. None of the blame for the September decline can be placed on Jacoby...he's a stellar performer.

He is always exciting to watch. I think he is the only guy on the Red Sox that my wife likes. She is a die-hard Phillies fan through and through.

Just heard that Francona is gone. Betcha they keep Jacoby and Pedroia tho..:)

I don't think Francona is all that bad. He was working with a fragile pitching staff at best. I agree Ellsbury and Pedroia are the future of the team.

ETA: I just read that they parted ways with Francona. Now I wonder who they will be after for his replacement. Joe Torre?

Ellsbury is, if you are a baseball fan or have ever played baseball, the real deal.
