I'm kinda with Seahawk on this one. I lived in eastern Washington state for several years (Pullman and Kennewick) and really like the scenery, climate, and overall great little towns and environment.

Good friend of mine moved from Montreal to Bangkok and loves it there. If you want me to get anyone in touch with him to see what its like, will do.

I lived in Thailand in the 70's. Great place to live but there has been some political unrest there in the recent past.

Stopped there for gas... scary place.

My problem is I alway lived near the ocean and have a hard time imagining not... and of course anything near the ocean is $$$.

Love Utah... vacationed there years ago... didn't have any problem getting beer.

I will probably retire in China. But I have to burn a few vacation days at the end of this month and am thinking of riding up to Cedar City to see the Mountain Meadow Massacre monument, then heading through Zion over to Moab and back down.
