Question about Rennsport reunion this weekend
My plan was to not go due to that thing call work. I decided tonight that I could not miss the largest Porsche event on the West coast or was it the whole country. My client will have to wait until Monday. I do not have tickets or hotel bookings. Can I just drive up and pay an entry fee and stand around to see the old race cars go around the track? What else will I be missing that I have no ticket for? Is it worth driving up then? Hotel can be found within 30-40 min. drive away, so that should not be an issue. My wife was cool about hanging out with the kids this weekend. Any suggestions would be welcome. What would I expect to see. Is it all within Laguana Seca.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate. That's for a weekend of vintage racing. It's only a small premium over what they were charging for early ticket sales. There's also a separate concours on Sunday at the Quail, but I think it's something like $400/ticket.
I'm staying in Seaside. With the help of the internet, I'm sure you can find reasonable accomodations within 30-40 min from the track.
