AVG Free Virus Protection
Man, it's worth everything I paid for it.
 Seriously, I run the upgrade protocol every time I turn the computer on... I guess that Windows Firewall and Linksys Router are just kickin' azz, huh?

Good stuff. Worth every cent for sure. I use windows defender and firewall proection also.

I've tested all of these A/V applications (it's part of my job) and the best I've found is Microsoft Security Essentials and it's free. My .02 worth...

AVG worked good, but it really slowed up my comp. Been using Avast, very happy with it.

I've been using Trend Micro for a long time. I usually buy it in early Jan for about $25-30 which is good for 3 computers. It's always worked well for me.
I just bought a new comp and decided to go with the free Microsoft product. So far, so good. When the other folks in the house have their trend Micro expire in a couple of months, I'll move them over as well.
