Thanks for the clarification. I know the guns weren't particularly effective against the Tigers.

The Tiger had an 88mm gun, the Zip had a 75. Tigers were vulnerable from the side and the rear. Problem was the Ronson had to get close and in the flat lands they were taken out due to the longer ranged german main gun.
In urban or close combat they could hold their own. What killed the Tiger I and II was expense and thirty gas tanks. Simply not enough to defeat the swarm of Amrican armor. |
