Honda CB360T sold at auction for $5,000
Well, the little CB was a big hit at our charity auction for Big Brothers Big Sisters. It ended up selling for $5,000. Yep, $5,000. I was flabbergasted. It was over $2,000 before I even got my hands on my bid card. I told myself I'd pay up to $1,500 for it. The bidding started at $500 and went rapidly from there with several people involved until it got to about $3,000 and then from what I could tell a couple guys went at it with last call at $5,250.
We had it displayed at the venue right at the top of the stairs where attendees entered the event space and received many favorable comments. What a fun night!!! ![]() Here's a link to one of the threads I posted with a bit more background. Honda CB360T Value?

That's fantastic! I'm sure that they were looking at it as a nice donation to Big Brothers/Sisters but that's how these auctions are supposed to work out. Great news!

A CB360 was the first 'big' bike I ever rode. I was probably about 11 or 12, it was my cousins bike. We rode that thing on dirt trails, gravel roads, everywhere. It had a vise grip for a shifter. We would put it in 1st or 2nd and ride till it ran out of gas. Bet I dumped that thing a dozen times trying to keep up with my buddies on dirt bikes.
Good memories, good times. |

That's an amazing sales price. Not all that long ago - well, maybe it was long ago, now that I think about it, like maybe '94-'95 - you could buy those things for $300. I remember this because I spent $5500 building a Ducati 350 Single vintage racer, which raced in AHRMA's sportsman 350 and 500 classes. These Hondas, stock, raced in the same classes and would beat me every time. Obviously not a wise use of money, but it sure was fun while it lasted.
