Anybody want to buy MY enduro....
thought i'd copy Sid....I'm moving back into civilization, and wont need my XL250 any more. The bike runs great, needs fork seals. Starts on the 1st kick. I bought it from a motorcycle shop here in Lancaster. I bought it with a bill of sale. (Coming from Indiana..I just bought it as a dirtbike. Didn't realize that California titles ATV's, dirtbikes, etc.)
Think $400 is too much? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1318740071.jpg |
I don't think 400 is enough....
i had it on craigslist, and every single person complained that it didnt have a current registration. i think just for a dirtbike, that $400 is a super fair price...but CL people are disagreeing. *shrugs shoulders*
Hell if you were here I'd give that for it, and we've established my lack of need for a dirtbike...
I'd give you $400, no problem. But it would cost me $1k to get it up here. What year is it?
I wish I were in SoCal.....

More details, please. And where are you? My 12 yr old could use that (me too).

How far are you from the bay area?
about 6 hours from the bay, and 6 hours from phx
bump..somebody wants a fun bike for a cheap price
two things killing me.
1. that bike. very cool. would be fun to get it registered and use it for milk runs. 2. you have a ranch in california?? wow..you allow hunters to pay a trespass fee? |
im just staying on a rented ranch. the 460 acres has "roads" that go through it. the roads are nothing more than a dirt path going through the desert, but they are official county roads. the rules and laws of california seemingly disappear once you get in the desert...
It is worth $400 to the right person who might need it for parts or as a retro campground bike, but most guys looking for a "dirt bike" will want something newer with somewhat modern suspension/handling.
That said....... If it had a title, I bet someone would easily give you double of what you are asking. Lots of folks are buying small "street legal" dual sport bikes like that these days. |
I'd buy it if I had a convenient way to get it up here (270 miles north).
I would love it for Max - I just don't know how to get it down here to Tejas? I'll buy you the gas if your willing to drive it down?
When are you moving and how soon do you need to get rid of it?
I may be making a trip to San Martin/Gilroy area, way North of you and could pick it up on the way back... not that I need another bike... Joe A |
Simply title it in a different state where they don't have inspection. You just moved from IN..... don't you have relatives there? Your old address?? Your old driver's license? Easy to do
