Loss of morality

I couldn't watch the video but I truly believe there is a loss of morality worldwide.

Watch at your own risk, very disturbing.

China: Toddler Run Over Twice, Over A Dozen Passersby Ignore Her (GRAPHIC VIDEO)

I won't watch it.

A930Rocket 10-18-2011 04:46 AM

Just watched it on Rennlist.

It was horrible and I couldn't watch it all.

Seems there is no regard for life there.

Injured toddler shows signs of stability|Society|chinadaily.com.cn

The condition of the two-year-old girl, Yue Yue, who was severely injured in a hit-and-run accident, is showing signs of stability, Guangdong Daily reported Tuesday.

A video of the incident, captured by a surveillance camera, shows the girl being hit by a white van before being hit by another van a few minutes later on a narrow market street in the city of Foshan in Guangdong province on the afternoon of October 13.

Toddler: showing signs of stability

After two and a half days of treatment, good news came Monday morning that Yue Yue has regained the ability to take weak breaths with the help of respirator. The rest of her condition, including blood pressure and heart beat, shows signs of stability. However, the child's life is still in danger and she hasn't recovered the ability to breathe upsupported, reported Guangzhou Daily.

Not watching. I don't need a reminder of how sickening people have become.

Not watching either..........................I do not think people have become more deranged, sick or have cashed in their morality card.................I believe that with technology today there are more opportunities than ever to "record" it as it happens...................my $.02

I agree. Regrettably things like this have always happened.

But by-God shoot a rapist, burglar, murderer and we cry foul. Homo-sapiens are fuched up. Mother Nature will get us eventually, just wish I'd be around to see it.

What is one more life more or less when there are 1.3 Billion in China. The attitude is you beter be able to look out for yourself because no one else will, and it is your fault if you don't.

sc_rufctr 10-18-2011 06:53 AM

I think we're on borrowed time anyway.

I actually agree with you. But I'd think it's pretty difficult watching out for yourself at 2. Hell I don't even remember being 2! And I was born at a young age :D

I can't/will not watch this either, but I do appreciate the story being written for us to read.

I've seen too much disregard for human life all over the globe.

We may be circling the drain as a Human Race.

Anyone seen "Long Way 'Round"? There's a really gut-wrenching account on there of meeting up with some orphaned/abandoned children in Ullan Batar (Mongolia); these kids are literally on their own in an "encampment" in the sewers/storm drains in the city (it's the only place reasonably secure/safe/warm) where older kids around 8 or 9 look out for little ones as young as one or two. Simply crazy. It blows my mind that children can be allowed to exist in conditions like that... Poverty is the worst disease facing planet earth, without a doubt.

Build your ark. Time for another flood.

We take better care of our pets than we do each other, adult or child.

imcarthur 10-18-2011 09:44 AM

I didn't watch the video either. But on the subject of children, you might want to read this BBC article: America's child death shame

"Every five hours a child dies from abuse or neglect in the US.

The latest government figures show an estimated 1,770 children were killed as a result of maltreatment in 2009.

A recent congressional report concludes the real number could be nearer 2,500.

In fact, America has the worst child abuse record in the industrialised world."

Its been on the news here... sad to see... but life is not as important over there as it is here.

madmmac 10-18-2011 02:57 PM

You have to have it to lose it.
