Wow, very cool, I don't know squat about marbles, but I'd love to see some pics. I think I have some somewhere. Most of them are from the '80s, but I have a few that I think may be from the late 60s or early 70s. I doubt that's old enough to be worth much.

Let me google that for you

Seriously, I have about 100 or so that I have from childhood and finding them in the yard and under the house here... gonna do some research myself to see if any of them are worth anything.

looking at a few collector sites it looks like she has a bunch which range from 50 to 250 bucks......apparently the design of the swirls is what identifies them along with themfg.....

Oh my god....
I wonder if my parents still have the big box of marbles I had as a kid... I know there were some ancient ones in there.

I have a mason jar full of old marbles as well. No idea what they are worth. Don't care. They look cool up on my TV.
My wife and I also have a big tupper ware tote full of old buttons ranging in age from the 20s to late 70s. My mom picked those up while she was living in Kansas. There are probably 5000 buttons there.

$50-$250?

Guess we should stop teasing the Indians about the couple handfuls of glass beads for Manhattan.

So here I am into reading on my fave Porsche site and what am I seeing and why did I click on this topic? I know I've lost my marbles, but not these....

About 6 months ago, I found an old box of beautiful antique marbles, (guessing a few hundred?) in of all places, the trunk of my original 1972 Ford Thunderbird! Odd yes. Know nothing more about them.
