Not chainsaw, but wanna be art
 

Been working on this piece of Avocado for a few weeks. A long way from finished but the top will be a woman in a bird costume, the sides are take offs of Inuet type masks, there is/will be a Raven head with feathers com-ming off the back of the head, nothing perfect, just stylized.

as I say, a long way from done, taking pictures of it makes me see so many things that have to change.

Will you have it done in time for Halloween?

I would need to hollow it out, cut out the eyes and such, put lights inside, I don't have the power tools to do it. Maybe I could stop by and mess up your shop.

Cool. I just spent the weekend working with the New England Wood Carvers and their annual "spirit of wood" show. It's pretty cool what can be done with wood.
