A couple Fords from this morning in Dana Point, look at the difference in the wheel wells, the bumpers, the back window, the tailgate, and of course the hood.
Plus, the silver one has the gas cap hidden behind the left tail light ala 56 Chevy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915661.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915729.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915751.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915769.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915803.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915823.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319915864.jpg |

My 57 wagon I bought at Turlock swap meet, thinking since I lived a couple blocks from the beach in Huntington Beach it would be a quick sell. By the time I drove it over the Grapevine I loved this car. Kept it for a year.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319931345.jpg This was my 56 Bel Air I bought at Pomona without even driving it, what a great car, parked in front of my friends 56 Nomad and 56 Station Wagon. Kept it three years. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319931440.jpg This was my 53 Chevy Sedan Delivery with a 265 in it. Actually my wife at the time drove it. The 51 Ford Pick up had a 289 and C4 in it. Louvers. messed this up, next picture. |

I saw this nice Audi at Rennsport Reunion IV. Snapped a photo since my wife has an A4 Avant. Does it belong to anyone here?

[QUOTE=MT930;6326921]Took my driving test in this.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319398016.jpg My mother had one similar to this when I first got my license...but I took my test in something smaller! Hers was a '75 Olds Custom Cruiser, navy blue (special ordered without the "shelf paper"). It had a 455 c.i. V8 & power clam-shell rear doors. I remember it had a "fuel economy gauge" (essentially a vacuum gauge, I think), which was a joke because the MPG was awful no matter what you did. We used ours to tow our 25-ft Airstream...which made the fuel economy even worse. Here is my wife's current driver. And no, it is not the evil black Audi wagon that screwed up the R-Gruppe photo! It is a very nice car. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319943060.jpg |
Here are a few other cool wagons....
These 2 are from the 2008 Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix. I believe the 1st one was used as a tow vehicle for Yenko racecars back in the day. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319944414.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319944461.jpg The next 2 are from the 2009 Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319944542.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319944602.jpg |
