Google Translate
I love this app. It is standard on Android phones or you can get it as an iPhone app.
You speak into (or type on) the phone in one language, and the app displays the translation to another language. Any language pairs you like, e.g. you can specify input Chinese and output German. The app will even guess at the input language. I've tried it using every language I know and it works well, with some limitations, esp if you are a sloppy slurring speaker. |
I have been doing stupid party tricks on mine. Works well. I am very impressed.
