D-Bug Update, Parents have commented about me...
 

Well, we are just about done with the season. The mighty D-bugs are closing in on an undefeated year!

I have had several of the girls parents come up to me after the last game and thank me for the job I was doing. Some of their comments...

"While Coach C***** was screaming at the girls you were on the sidelines talking to the girls on the bench, instructing them on what to do and how to do it. Thank you!"

"Your so positive!"

"You are funny to watch, when you get excited you get up on your tippy toes!"

"My ******** loves the way you coach, your always so nice and cheerful! She really beemed when you told her you just knew she was gonna scroe today and she did. Thanks Mike!"

Well, all you that thought my letter was strange (it was) but at least the girls had fun this year. They all expressed a desire to keep the season going and do tournaments. We shall see....

You are talking about 2 things, though.

I have no doubt you are a great coach for the kiddos, and that the kids and parents like you.

But, your letter was still whack!

guess what...I did send it! Everyone thought it was "true Holloway!" I guess I am a bit of a positive preacher and talker. Only one guy (my friend and our Daughters BFF on the team) told me that it was propaganda! He said he could hear my voice as he read it and that it would have been fine if we were drinking beer in my driveway (like normal) but he read it at work and he thought it was too "Steven Covey" like.

All in all I mean well. I might stray on the side of strange but only if you barely know me...
