I turned 66 recently and still comb my hair, shave my ears, stay somewhat tan and I do check out the females if only to appreciate what was at one time. If I needed Viagra and it was 50 bucks a pop, I'd grab some once a week.

But...I can take the OP's position when it comes to cars. Don't notice, don't care anymore. In general.

They call that being crazy...or having senile dementia...

Just turned 60....When you get there, you don't have any "Hero's" anymore.

Young, hot looking girls all just seem loud and self-centered.

Now that I can afford fine Whiskey and good food, I've lost my sense of smell and taste.

I've learned to go back to all those places I zipped thru on 1,000 mile day m/c trips and see the scenery.

I've had 5 good friends die this year, and most likely at least one more before the year is over.

I'm starting to pick up the pace a little on those "projects" I was gonna get to someday.

I'm taking my health more seriously that I ever have.

None of this will make sense to you until you're there!

Happy birthday to both of you. I turn 61 this year. The attitude thing is very true. I really don't care what you think anymore. I have seen more in my rear view than you can see through your windshield. I hurt more now in more places than ever. The young girls just look through me anymore. That's OK. Who wants to deal with women who still have periods anyway. Women 20 years younger than me still try to pick me up, that's flattering but if you think I'm busting up a 30 marriage so I can put yer brat through college yer wrong. Other than the fact that I have more behind me than in front of me, I like being this old. I try not to think about death, but it IS unavoidable. I'll make the most of life while I can.

Bravo!!! Barvo!!!

54 here... and I go to Hooters for... uh... the atmosphere!

Actually it is fun to go to hooters... we know the young 20 something waitress has no interest in chubby, balding, middle age men... we are cordial but don't hit on them... they seem to enjoy that.

Happy birthday. I'll trade with almost anyone here except for a couple of guys. I'm looking at the big 70 next time around. Back when I went to my 50th H.S. class reunion, there were a whole bunch of old people there. Don't know what's up with that.

I will be 76 in two months. I can still (and do) admire the female form and all that goes with it.

However. this brings a tear to my eye more often than it ever did:

Just turned 59 last month. I can agree with all of you. As the age goes up the "Give a crap" meter goes down. I can still shoot as I did in my 40s but it takes more concentration. I'll toast you with a bourbon over ice.

happy birthday..!!

to everyone it applies to.

Happy birthday. Getting older is just a matter of gaining experience and wisdom. At least that's what I tell myself - I'm midway through my 68th year.

Still enjoy women? You bet! But only to carefully and discretely look - I've been very happily marrief for a long time and have no intention of doing anything that might change that.

One thing I do notice - I don't seem to drive as fast as I used to. Hmm.

Springsteen's "Glory Days" comes to mind or Harry Chapin who wrote a lot about our ephemeral existence.

Well that's just fine as far as that goes, but it's not too late for some serious rumpy pumpy.

Another great thing about growing older is that the universe of women you'd consider bonking just gets bigger and bigger. :)

Bingo! Pretty damned similar here...only you're an old man! I won't be 68 until this coming Sunday. ;)

Ditto on the cars thing...don't pay much attention to cars like I used to...and yeah, I do drive slower than I used to..try to go just a bit quicker than the flow on the freeway, never speed in towns & cities. Can't remember my last ticket..has been years & years since I got one.

Ahhh, just a couple more years then I too can say f-it, I'm not shaving today, don't care what I wear, can work on projects I care about, and of course, visit those spots I sped by years before...can hardly wait. However, I'm still a firm believer of "the day you stop looking is the day you die"!

One thing I've found...sometimes, when caught looking by a young thing...say she in her 30's? I often get a smile back. She & I both know nothing will come of it, but she appreciates being admired.

She's probably wondering if you're a friend of her grandpa.

I have a few years before I reach 60 but I reached the "I don't give a crap" stage long ago - for better or worse.

Generic Viagra.

(64) 100 mg pills = $145 including shipping.

cut them in half (changing the dosage to 50 mg) = .72 cents per "event".

Generic Pharmacy - Canada Prescription Drugs - Canadian Pharmacies Online

you can take a picture of your doctor's prescription with your Iphone and then just email it to them. (or you can fax, but they will pull up your email while on the phone with you so that there is no confusion/delay) They will immediately process your order. The company is in Canada but the order will be filled/sourced from India. It will take about 3 weeks for the prescription to arrive at your door.

Once you have a prescription "on file" you never have to renew it. If your doctor writes the script for 4 pills, it doesn't matter, you can order as many as you want, as many times as you want.

The pills will come in an airtight foil pack as pictured below.

I have never been more completely satisfied with a product, other than maybe the Wevo PSJ.

I started using Viagra about 10 years ago when I was partying pretty heavily in Vegas. For me, it has always completely negated any performance issues associated with alcohol abuse and/or multiple partners.

I just turned 47 in October. Even now, the "effect" can last 8 to 12 hours.

If anybody has any other questions that you don't feel comfortable asking here, you can PM me.

RE: Sex after 50 is great... just because we talk about it and know what we like... no guessing like when I was a kid.

I also don't drive as fast as I used to. However, in the past 5 years I have received 4 or 5 warning tickets for speeding and several "let's slow it down a bit sir and have a good day" from the highway patrol. These were all for 80 in a 70 or 62 in a 55 type tickets, nothing outrageous.

Wife says it is because I am an OWG (old white guy) and we all look more or less alike and the reason I get the warnings is because I remind them of their father or  grandfather.. and as I will be 66 this year she may be right.

scottmandue 11-02-2011 01:58 PM

Viagra? Pfft!

Popsickle sticks and duct tape!
