I knew I shouldn't have clicked on it . . .
It just breaks my heart and will haunt me for days.
It makes me wish I was there and could have put a beat down on these morons. Texas judge confirms video of him beating daughter, says 'I lost my temper' - CNN.com WTF is wrong with people. |
Wow. Mindblowing...
|
maybe he'll got to jail and Bubba will "lose his temper" on the judge...
|
The girl has Cerebral palsy ..... i'm pissed what a#$*&^ the mom hit her too... over using the internet? They interviewed him: UPDATE III: Judge William Adams of Aransas County, Texas has now responded. It happened. He says he "apologized." And, hold on to your hats:
When asked if he thought the conduct in the video was excessive, Judge Adams said, "It's not as bad as it looks on tape." Judge Adams also informed us he has already contacted the Judicial Review in Austin and "more will come out" during the investigation. |
Nothing wrong with Judge Adam a deer rifle can't solve.
|
Sickening.
It makes me want to crawl into the video and pound the Fuch out of the MF'r. I hope that he goes to prison and gets his just punishment. It doesn't matter if he was a ditch digger, it's just about the abusing of his child. The "mother" should be put away for a few years as well for condoning the actions of this A-hole. |
it happened seven years ago, is what i heard. what is the statute of limitations on something like that?
edit: so i looked at the article, 2004. i really shouldn't have watched that. |
I think the mum tried to get him to stop in a rather poor way, i do think she tried to prevent worse , eg she hit once, so he wouldn't hit more and harder....
If you listen, the vid starts with her saying she already had punished her, in an attempt to prevent him from doing worse I know, it's not perfect, but in the video the main problem is the guy. The woman probably was abused as well, so try to look at what she tries to avoid... i don't think she condoned it, more like she was stuck between a rock and a hardplace and did what she thought would not make it worse. |
THEY SHOULD BOTH BE VIOLATED, MAIMED AND SHOT!!!
I am completely and utterly disgusted and I too shouldn´t have clicked on it.. |
Somehow Sadly,I don't think this was the only time that she was beaten by her father, rather the only time he got caught on camera.
|
He is done.
Law enforcement is Texas is reviewing the tape, the Judicial Review in Texas is looking into it and he has been relived of his duties for the remainder of the week. The judge was also seen packing clothing and rifles into his car and leaving town. |

i'd be willing to bet he received NUMEROUS death threats after that little video hit the net.
|
I'm with you. I looked and spent the entire time cringing. I kept getting up from my chair to reach out and stop him from hitting her again -- but I couldn't because it was on-line.
The man should go to jail for child abuse, and his ex-wife should get counseling. There is no excuse for his actions. None. |
I'm glad I was born in 63. My twin brothers, born in 51, got the belt on a regular basis. I can't imagine it ever looked like that though. For me, he would tell me I was going to get a spanking (on the rear end), let me think about it for an hour or so, then give me a couple of good swats on the butt. There was no anger or swearing. I suspect it was the same for my brothers with the belt. (plus - on a side note, they regularly beat the snot out of one another!)
He was a kind and loving father. But back then, I think he thought he was supposed to do this or they would turn out bad. They turned out to productive members of society and loving fathers themselves. None of us really ever spanked our children though. That was certainly disturbing. |
It's just so saddening.
A child is such a helpless being. The one place they should feel safe in this world is in their room, in their home, with their parents to protect them from the sickos, weirdos and badness in the world. When the parents themselves are the sickos, weirdos and badness, it's like a nightmare. The poor child is all alone - there is no where to turn to for safety. The terror and loneliness must be staggering. Just makes me sick. I hope those people get what they have coming to them. |
with some luck he'll off himself somewhere by the side of the road...
He's a judge , he can judge himself that way. |
It breaks my heart watching that. He needs a whipping, maybe that will solve his anger management issues.
|
My ex has a daughter with ataxic CP. The kid can be frustrating but she has never been subjected to anything other than love and understanding. She does need to be disciplined but never physically. I know this to be true because my kids are a big part of her life.
Those people need to be put away for a long time. That is unforgivable. |
The mother and daughter were on the Today show. The girl has forgiven the mom and is asking for people to help her father. The mother alluded to an "addiction" but didn't give any more info.
He should face it, his life is pretty much over unless he moves to a place where there is no internet access. Kinda like that biotch Casey Anthony. |
a beating like that was a weekly/monthly event in my childhood... only my father wasn't quite as gentle as the judge. that's one reason why my sister, brother and I moved out of the house by 15yrs old.

Too long ago to charge him?
Police Won't File Charges Against Texas Judge Caught On Video Beating Daughter | Fox News A Texas family law judge whose daughter secretly videotaped him savagely beating her seven years ago won't face criminal charges because too much time has elapsed, police said Thursday. Aransas County Court-at-Law Judge William Adams likely would have been charged with causing injury to a child or other assault-related offenses for the 2004 beating of his then-16-year-old daughter, but the five-year statutes of limitations expired, Rockport Police Chief Tim Jayroe said. Nov. 2: Hillary Adams, daughter of Aransas County Court-at-Law Judge William Adams, walks outside her mother's home in Portland, Texas. In this March 17, 2005, photo Hillary Adams, the daughter of Aransas County Court-at-Law Judge William Adams, practices the piano at her home in Rockport, Texas "We believe that there was a criminal offense involved and that there was substantial evidence to indicate that and under normal circumstances ... a charge could have been made," Jayroe said. He said the district attorney determined he couldn't bring charges, and that police would discuss the case with federal prosecutors even though he doesn't believe federal charges would apply. Hillary Adams, now 23, posted the 8-minute clip on YouTube last week that shows her father viciously lashing her with a belt and trying to force her to bend over her bed to be beaten despite her wails and pleas to stop. The clip had received more than 2.4 million hits as of Thursday, and police began investigating Wednesday after hearing from concerned citizens. GRAPHIC WARNING: Click here to see the video William Adams, 51, issued a three-page statement Thursday saying his daughter posted the clip to get back at him for telling her he would be reducing the amount of financial support he gives her and taking away her Mercedes. The statement did not include an apology for the beating, but he told Corpus Christi television station KZTV on Wednesday that the video "looks worse than it is," that he had already apologized to his daughter and that he was just disciplining his child for stealing. Hillary Adams says her parents were angry because she had downloaded pirated content online, and that she turned on the camera because she sensed something was going to happen. William Adams, who presides over child abuse cases, is still being investigated by the state's judicial conduct commission and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, which on Thursday requested that he be removed from its cases until the investigation concludes. Patrick Crimmins, a spokesman for the agency, declined to elaborate on the exact nature of the investigation. But he said that in general, the agency would only investigate a case in which a suspected abuse victim has already reached adulthood if there are still children in the home who could be at risk. Adams was granted joint custody of his 10-year-old daughter in his 2007 divorce. There are no allegations of alleged abuse by Adams against his younger daughter, who primarily resides with her mother, Hallie Adams. Crimmins declined to say whether his agency is investigating the parental fitness of Hallie Adams, who lashed Hillary once during the 2004 beating. Crimmins said his agency ordinarily wouldn't disclose that it is investigating someone, but that it did in this case because the investigation is the reason it requested that William Adams be taken off its cases. Jayroe said that police did not interview the younger daughter, but asked both Hallie and Hillary Adams about it and there was no indication of abuse of the younger daughter. In his statement Thursday, Adams said he would "respond" to all investigations. As Aransas County's top judge, he has dealt with at least 349 family law cases in the past year alone, nearly 50 of which involved state caseworkers seeking determine whether parents were fit to raise their children. County officials confirmed that Adams will not hear cases related to Child Protective Services for at least the next two weeks. And the top administrator in Aransas County cast doubt on whether Adams could credibly return to the bench. "I would think it would be very difficult," said Aransas County Judge C.H. "Burt" Mills Jr. "Personally I don't see how he can recover from this." If the judicial commission and police investigations don't lead to punishment or charges, Adams could be safe on the bench until he's up for re-election in three years. Hillary Adams said she waited so long to expose her father because she was terrified at what might have happened had she done so while still living under his roof. She said the outpouring of support and encouragement she's received since posting the clip is tempered by the sadness that it's her father repeatedly lashing her with a belt and threatening to beat her "into submission." During an interview with her and her mother Thursday on NBC's "Today" show, Hillary Adams said her father regularly beat her for a period of time. She has repeatedly said she didn't post the clip to spite her father, and that she hopes it forces him to seek help. Her mother blamed her ex-husband's bouts of violence on an "addiction." She called it a "family secret," but declined to elaborate. In his statement, though, William Adams painted a starkly different picture of why his daughter posted the clip. "Just prior to the YouTube upload, a concerned father shared with his 23-year-old daughter that he was unwilling to continue to work hard and be her primary source of financial support, if she was going to simply `drop out,' and strive to achieve no more in life than to work part time at a video game store," Adams' statement said. "Hillary warned her father if he reduced her financial support, and took away her Mercedes automobile, which her father had provided, he would live to regret it." Hillary Adams did not immediately respond to email requests Thursday seeking a response. Read more: Police Won't File Charges Against Texas Judge Caught On Video Beating Daughter | Fox News |

Would you expect anything less from an attorney? Family court judges abuse children everyday. Scum bags one and all.
|
Sad to see...,
|
Angela...just damn! Glad you made it. Also grateful for the "normal" parents I had...
|
If my parents did that to me, I honestly think I would have at some point tried to kill them.
|
my father jumped on me once after I left home and 18-19yrs old. never tried it again after I sent him to the emergency room. never messed with my mom and brother again after I pointed a gun in his face. after he told me I wasn't man enough, I shot the sofa he was sitting on right next to his head and his attitude changed a bit. never had another problem after that
