Is it just my iPhone that didn't fall back one hour?

Is it just my iPhone that didn't fall back one hour?

I've checked my settings and they are good

Ideas?

There was a DST bug fixed quite a while ago - what version of the iOS software are you running?

5String43 11-06-2011 08:54 AM

I can't answer your question, but mine did indeed fall back the requisite hour.

It's several generations old, however, and hasn't been updated (yet) to the newest software, for what that's worth.

It's an old 3G model, running version 4.2.1

It's worked in the past for time changes.

I've been hesitant to update because it hangs up now as it is from the last update. Of course, maybe an update will fix that.

Your iPhone thinks it is in Arizona?

Jesset100 11-06-2011 11:27 AM

Mine went back 27 minutes ago

Well, some time after midnight, it moved back an hour.

My 3GS running iOS 5 changed fine.

A930Rocket 11-07-2011 09:48 AM

I checked yesterday and iTunes said I had the latest update (4.2.1), so how did you download iOS 5?

It actually ran better on the original version. No slow downs, freezing, etc.

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.

1720 by mine

were you on the internet/cel phone network between the time change @2am and when the phone went back? if not maybe you dont have auto updates set up.

my android alarm went off at the DST time sunday morning then at the corrected standard time an hr later. in between i had received an email that forced the time change to occur on the phone.

i dont have my phone set for automatic network updates, those suck down battery power when you allow that crap to automatically connect without your control.

Mine went back to 1980...

Re-downloaded iTunes yesterday and checked fir updates.

It changed a day later for some reason. At least it changed. Looking at the wrong time was a pita.

Curious,

Did iOS 5 ever become available for your 3G?

I do not think it is supported since 5.01 that came out today does not list the 3G.

First ever iPhone update via wifi - pretty cool and worked perfect.

Now to see if the battery improves (which is one of the main changes in the OS).
