Don't use water based flux- its crap.

Get everything clean and well fluxed, make sure pieces are straight and pushed together tight - the rest is simple.

Thank you. I have a Beseler 23C in storage. I'd like to find a Beseler 45 enlarger.

The main issue with the darkroom will be the sink and plumbing. I have never done plumbing, beyond tightening a P trap. The laundry sink is 6 feet away, so easy enough to route supply and drain lines. I would need to learn how to braze (?) copper pipe. Cutting and gluing PVC drain line I can manage :-)

The sink will have to be custom, to fit in the space. I could make it from wood then fiberglass or otherwise coat it. Or I could get one made from stainless steel.

I happen to have a Beseler 45 in the basement that I keep planning on setting up, but just haven't gotten to. I'll do it again. Are you shooting LF? The 45 comes with some neat features, but the only real advantage is prints from BIG film.

I've never had a darkroom with a sink. Turns out it isn't really necessary for most of what you need to do. It's convenient for some things, but you don't really need it, honestly. PM me if you want to chat darkroom stuff; I feel bad hijacking your thread on electrical. :)

you have to vent that darkroom...actively. pump air out, and let air in. they have light safe vents.

dont shortcut this part.
