The point being, it is the so-called 'prime cuts' of meat being 'modified' & therein lies the big worry. It has pretty much always been a given, the 'mystery meats' (hot dogs, chicken nuggets, bologna etc.) were/are just that - rubbish.

Turkey(subway), roast beef(Arby's), chicken nuggets, etc. all contain "meat glue". Nothing new here.

You could always buy Halal (muslim blessing) meat, no blood products can touch the meat. This meat glue would never be Halal as it has blood in it.
Or find a real butcher, not Costco, etc.
