We were both prone on a P-Dog hunt, side by side, when we shifted a bit to one side to shoot the edge of a the field. Instead of being at my 9 o'clock, he was closer to my 10:00, about 4 feet away. Still perfectly safe, but evidently the 6.5-06 muzzle blast and concussion was impressive.

Yeah all my Spoons have names like Smith & Wesson, L C Smith, Parker, AH Fox, Shiloh, etc.

Yer being less than verbose, Tabby.....you of all people should have a rack of BFF named projectile delivery systems.

Nope, no names, but I do have a set of "twins" that I refer to by "taking the twins to the range". Savage Mk II in 22lr, and a 93 in 22wmr, both wearing Boyd's thumbhole stocks.

That would not be a practical exercise for me, I have a few too many for that (but I got a good deal on almost all of them).
