What's your favorite firearm?
2 parts...
1. The most favorite one that you currently own 2. If you could have any specific one, which would it be. I just spent time cleaning my collection and decided that my favorite out of all (long guns, and pistols included) was my S&W Revolver. I love the way it looks, feels and shoots. So, what's your favorite....you only get one! |
my rossi m92 .357mag lever action in mirror polished stainless steel....when it's clean
|
1. 1911, Colt Detective, Colt SA .45LC
2. M14, get back the .50 blackpowder from FIL, beautiful wood!!!!! (now that does not sound right....) |
1. Winchester 101 20g Pigeon Grade
2. LeFever Optimus Grade 20g |
I have a 16 gauge SxS that I have had since I was a kid - by far my favorite gun. I recently gave it to one of my boys.
A gun that I keep coming back to is a Freedom Arms 454 Casull. |
My classic SIG P220 with all but the frame done in NP3. Best gun I've ever owned and will never part with it.

1 Current (and only one for now)

I've only had this for two weeks, so it is my new favorite. Browning Medalist II in .22LR

1. Remington 721 in .257 Roberts Caliber
For the "wish I had" gun: 2. Steyr "scout rifle" in .308 Winchester I like my handguns..but I really prefer a good rifle. |
1. My Glock 17. Shoots well, comfortable, and extremely reliable.
2. I really want a Colt Python in nickel or stainless. I have no use for it, but they just have that cool factor. And it is a .357. |
1. Ruger PC9 carbine - shoots readily available, inexpensive 9mm rounds accurately all day long, is a blast to shoot and looks rad. Easy/compact too.
2. If I could have ANY and price was no object, probably either a Barret .50 or a Gyrojet Rocket Pistol (from the 1960s, pretty crazy weapon). Realistically I'm probably going to pick up a 1911 pretty soon and/or a .44 magnum. I wouldn't mind a Saiga semi-auto 12-gauge either. |
M1A Carbine. It is the most practical, easiest gun to shoot I know.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1321052308.jpg Old 1911 from my Father...Colt Commander he bought before he went to Korea. I'll wait. |
Current favorite Sig 226R .40
I would like to own a Colt AR-15 of some flavor. |
Colt 1903 Hammerless (I own one and love it!)
M1 Carbine (wished that I owned) |
1) 1911.
2) a seriously smithed 70 series Colt. |
1.) Ruger Blackhawk in .357 and convertible to 9 mm. Single action fun pistol. Shoots readily available ammo, is very accurate, and I can shoot it along side my 9mm using the same ammo.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1321054555.jpg 2.) Colt - Single Action Army. Not for shooting, just for the collection. |
All of them!
Seriously, I can not choose one favorite. And any future acquisition would likely be the same. |
Well, since I only have 1...
1. Springfield Armory XDm 9 Compact I don't know that I can really pick a #2. It's a toss up between a BHP, 1911, and my dad's old service revolver that was stolen from the house when I was 13, a nickel plated 6" barrel S&W Model 27 357 mag. |
NSFW, but I cant agree more. AK

A Browning Sweet 16 shot gun. I received it when my Grandfather died and little did I know that he purchased on the day I was born and he always wanted me to have it. I love to shoot it and would never sell it. I think he smiles when I shoot it.
